While attending East West College of Natural Medicine he was blessed to have completed a 2-semester internship at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital under Dr. William Bruce Benner. While there he was able to treat patients with Acupuncture to provide relief from pain, aid in post-operative healing, help alleviate side effects of cancer treatment, and to assist patients in recovery from post-stroke symptoms.

While practicing in Florida for 4 years Dr. Kost had his own Acupuncture Clinic as well as working with Dr. Shan Liang at The Center for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Sarasota Florida. Under Dr. Liang's mentorship, who was an MD in China and has been practicing Acupuncture in the US for 35 years, Dr Kost learned additional techniques in Master Tung Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture, and further TCM training.

Along with Acupuncture he also utilize herbal medicine, homeopathic and vitamin injections, cupping, and other East Asian medical approaches to achieve this. He strives to bring his patients back into balance to bring about their optimal level of health.
